Questions parents ask.
Yes. It's free to sign up and explore, and your child can take the first two units of our two foundation courses, Islamic Beliefs and Islamic Worship, with no card and no time limit.
If your child finds it useful and enjoys it, you can then upgrade to Premium at $29.99 a month for your first child, plus tax where applicable. The free Explorer plan also includes every game, XP, coins and streaks, and you can add up to six children.
Only when you choose to upgrade. Signing up is free and we never ask for a card to start. Premium is $29.99 a month for your first child and $24.99 for each one after, plus tax where applicable.
You can cancel any time from the Family tab in the Parent Portal. If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment, we refund it in full and you don't have to ask. Your children keep the free Explorer plan either way. The full details are in our terms.
Our aim is to teach your children the fundamentals of Islam in a way that is relevant to their lives, and to help them answer the questions they will face growing up.
Our courses are reviewed by scholars. We teach mainstream, classical Islam, taken from the Qur'an, the Sunnah and the Islamic scholarly tradition. We stick to the positions that are agreed on, and we don't get into scholarly debates or contentious issues.
Imanic was started by two imams.
Imam Ayaz Irfani has been an imam for over 10 years in the UK, holds a master's in Islamic Studies from SOAS, and trained under scholars in the UK, Pakistan and Turkey. Imam Ayaz heads the curriculum.
Imam Hummaam Qaasim has been an imam for 10 years in the UK and the US, and trained under scholars in the UK, Mauritania and Yemen.
There are no ads, and we never sell your data. Your child gets a random nickname instead of their real name. There is no chat or messaging between children.
The friends feature is optional and stays off until you turn it on. Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers.
Yes. Under each lesson your child can ask a teacher a question, and a teacher at Imanic replies. We don't use a chatbot to answer religious questions.
Only your child, the teacher and you can read the question, and you can see every question and answer in the Parent Portal.
There are no live classes. Each lesson is a video, a reading and an activity, and your child does them at their own pace, any time.
They earn XP, coins and streaks as they go and can play every game. If they have a question, they can ask a teacher.
Imanic is a full curriculum. It starts with the fundamentals, which cover what Muslims believe, how worship works, how to build character, the stories of the prophets, the Qur'an and the life of the Prophet ﷺ. Then we go into the why. They learn the logic behind our beliefs and why it holds up under pressure, how the Qur'an works, how to read hadith, and how to live their faith confidently in a society that doesn't share it.
Then we take on the modern issues that affect them, from the hardest questions about faith in the modern world to relationships and growing up as a Muslim. Along the way they can read the Qur'an with tajweed colours, memorise duas, and learn to read Arabic.
The Parent Portal shows your child's progress, lets you listen to what they memorise, and lists every question they ask a teacher. Progress reports are part of Premium.
Premium is $29.99 a month for your first child and $24.99 for each one after, plus tax where applicable.
You can add a child any time and pay the extra from that day. If you remove one, your bill drops at your next renewal. Children you don't cover keep the free Explorer plan.
