Welcome to Imanic ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and educational services (collectively, the "Services").
By creating an account, accessing, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are a parent or guardian creating an account on behalf of a child, you agree to these Terms on their behalf.
Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services.
2. Eligibility
Imanic is designed for children and teenagers learning about Islam. To use our Services:
- Parents/Guardians: You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and manage student profiles.
- Teachers/Schools: You must have appropriate authority to create accounts and manage student access on behalf of your institution.
- Students: Student profiles are created and managed by parents, guardians, or authorized educators. Students access the platform under adult supervision.
Important: As a parent, guardian, or school representative, you are responsible for how students use the Services under your account, and for ensuring you have the necessary permission to create and manage student profiles.
3. Account Registration and Security
To access our Services, you must create an account. You agree to:

- ✓Maintain and promptly update your account information
- ✓Keep your password secure and confidential
- ✓Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- ✓Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.
4. Subscription and Payment
4.1 Subscription Plans
Imanic offers subscription-based access to our educational content. Details about available plans, pricing, and features are displayed on our website and during the checkout process.
4.2 Payment
- Payments are processed by Stripe, our secure third-party payment processor. Your card details are entered on and stored by Stripe. They never touch Imanic's servers, and we never see your full card number. You can update your payment method or cancel at any time from the Parent Portal's Billing tab.
- By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.
4.3 Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- You will not be charged again, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
14-day money-back guarantee. If you are unhappy with any charge for any reason, contact us at salaam@imanic.online within 14 days of that charge and we will refund it in full, no questions asked. If we refund a charge in full, the Full Access it paid for may end at the time of the refund.
Outside the 14-day window, refunds are provided at our discretion and in accordance with applicable law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us. We aim to be fair.
4.4 Changes to Plans and Pricing
We may change our subscription plans, pricing, or the features included in each plan from time to time. If we make changes that affect your existing subscription, we will notify you in advance and the changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period or as otherwise stated in the notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- ✗Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access
- ✗Copy, distribute, or reproduce our educational content without permission
- ✗Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack our Services
- ✗Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access our Services
- ✗Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- ✗Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- ✗Use the Services for any commercial purpose without our written consent
- ✗Use the question box under a lesson for anything other than questions about that lesson, or type personal contact details into it
About questions to a teacher. Students can ask a question under a lesson video and a teacher at Imanic will reply. Questions are private to that student and are never shown to other students. We may decline to answer a question, and we will contact the parent or guardian if a question raises a concern about a student's safety. 6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Content
All content on Imanic, including but not limited to lessons, quizzes, games, videos, images, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our content solely for personal, non-commercial educational purposes while your subscription is active.
6.2 User Content
If you or your students submit any content to our platform (such as quiz responses, activity completions, or questions asked to a teacher under a lesson), you retain ownership of that content. However, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display that content as reasonably necessary to provide and improve the Services, to maintain security, to develop new features, and to generate aggregated, de-identified insights.
7. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
By using our Services, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of information as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Third-Party Services
Our Services may integrate with or contain links to third-party websites, services, or content. We are not responsible for:
- The availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services
- Any transactions or interactions you have with third parties
- The privacy practices of third-party services
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Any defects will be corrected
- The Services will meet your specific requirements or expectations
The educational content we provide is for general educational purposes only and is not a substitute for personal religious, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IMANIC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Imanic and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another party; or (d) any content you submit to the Services.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by:
- Posting the updated Terms on our website with a new "Last updated" date
- Sending you an email notification (for material changes)
Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include:

- Non-payment of subscription fees
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Extended period of inactivity
Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification).
14. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
15. General Provisions
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Imanic regarding your use of the Services.
15.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
15.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
